So I have been racing my car with a drip from the rear main seal or retainer or possibly the oil pan gaskets, So last weekend I put a Mancini retainer and seal in and new good oil pan gaskets and we took it out for a few test pulls and get it back in the shop and it still has a couple drips hanging off the bell. I just cant see with how nice it all went together that it could possibly leak. Now I am thinking it has to much crank case pressure. I have a big k&N breather on each valve cover and no pcv. Would a crank case evac to the headers fix this drip?

If you run a full exhaust I would say dont bother with the exhaust style evac... greater than 5"hg back pressure will cause the exhaust to back up, burn out the check valve and start pressurizing the crank case

Its definately not coming out from up top. It either has to be the rear seal , retainer, or oil pan gaskets, Unless it is coming out of the cam plug or a oil galley plug. I might pull the tranny out this weekend and see if I can see anything on the back of the block. I have 3" exhaust with Dynomax Bullets and turns out in front of the tires so I would think it would pull enough vacuum. Do those evac kits seem to help?

Hook up a combo gauge to the back of your valve cover and see what you have going on

I have a slight rear oil leak to deal with
Due to running a girdle and studded oil pan.
My plan is to check for the leak, using a fluorscent leak detector dye,
maybe won't have to pull the engine
