I have the prebent Rod & bracket (thanks to scratch ) but I need to know what length flat bar to use ( the one with the long slot that hooks up to the carb. I have a lot of them some are longer than others, just don't which would be the right one

take 2 of them and drill holes to bolt them together to make 1 bar, then it will reach.

done many this way converting 2-v to 4-v linkage.

that linkage is from a 82 dodge 1 ton flatbed..it had a 360 with a q-jet stock intake.

what intake carb you using?

also.. I don't remember if I sent the trans lever..you can find one where the D-hole is clocked different and longer shorter levers to correct the rod ratio.

if any of the ones you have will let it come forward enuff at the carb and still hook into the trans lever pulling it forward as far as it goes.. that's where you start before adjusting.

trans lever full forward, spring pulling flat bar with slot full forward against throttle stud, throttle fully closed.

adjust trans lever back to get shift points/kickdown specs.

sometime I have been luck with the 1 flat bar fitting.. but have bolted 2 together to get it to adjust out correctly.

im using the Edelbrock Performer 2176 with a 600cfm holley

That Holley needs the #20-7 Mopar throttle lever extension in order for the linkage to work correctly.

The longer slotted links are for 4-barrels.
