After removing the sound deadening held up with contact cement I was able to prep and prime the inside of the roof. Before spraying the epoxy primer and coated the inside of the roof framing with a rust encapsulator.
Thanks
Pat

Thanks

Larry,
I'm spraying DuPont 2590S epoxy primer/sealer. Easy to mix and spray and lay down great!
Thank You!
Pat

I've been lurking around for awhile and I must say that your are the definition of hot rodding!
I am at a point where I'm thinking of pulling the plug on putting my paper weight together. Then I come here and you give me the bug again to finish it.
Thanks for the information on your build. You have inspired and educated me.
Matt

Cleaned and painted the inside of the cowl and painted inside firewall along with the bottom of the Cowl. I use a paint that looks like the color of steel as this will make it a little brighter under the dash when working on it. With the car on the rotisserie it was very easy to use a self leveling seem sealer fill the original firewall panel seams.
Thanks
Pat

Using some cardboard I mocked up the rear brake cooling vents. I will make these up using .065 aluminum and have them powder coated black. I will make up the discharge side at the brake when the rear and wheels are back on.
Thanks
Pat

I made the aluminum rear brake vents using my cardboard template. After welding them together and grinding most of the welds down I used a air tool with a medium Scotch-Brite pad to finish off and smooth out the welds. The Scotch-Brite pad is very user friendly and fast when working with aluminum.
Thanks
Pat

I think a NACA Duct in the torque box would do the same and belly pan the bottom of the car. Mike

A duct in the bottom of the torque box would work great with a belly pan. But I'm not planing on putting a belly pan on this car. Hard to see and fix problems on a street car
Thanks
Pat

Not a productive weekend on the charger as I went to Carlisle, but I did spray some hi build primer on the hood and trunk lid today.
Thanks
