Has anyone installed a lx or lc console in a classic mopar? I have been considering this myself in my 70 roadrunner clone with a tko 600, I was curious if anyone had dibe such and what the results were.I like the idea of comfort as I drive a magnum rt daily and like the layout.

I've never seen a 40 year old car with an interior from a new car that looked good and 'in place' in it.
Specially not home-built stuff.

Talking apples and oranges here but my son installed a 4th gen Trans Am console and door panels in a 3rd gen Trans Am and it all looked like it belonged there. I built my own for my b-body. I also built a similar one for an a-body.

Nice job Darrell !
You have a nice arm rest and cup holders...and since 71-74 didn't have nice corner dash speakers...you have some nice ones mounted in the sides of the console...

both consoles fit very well in the vehicles. What are those seats out of Darrell? Look similar to my old conquest seats refinished. My primary concern is making it fit with the pistol grip and look alright.

The seats are http://procarbyscat.com/
The way I see it, if you make your own console you can fit whatever you want to it. A little ingenuity and patience are key.
