You ARE using the correct puller, the huge giant thing that bolts to the wheel studs?

Sometimes whacking the hub with an air hammer will help(right on the hub of the drum where the axle sticks through) Heat can help too. I have had situations where even with a torch, a puller with an impact on it, and an airhammer, all going at the same time it wouldn't come off. Good luck

Here is the proper way to use this tool. Back off brake shoe linings. After it is secured to the hub and drum and tensioned, use a large hammer (not a sledge)and turn the crank head aprox 1/4 turn, then hit the center of the large bolt head once. repeat with increasing tension (1/4 turn aprox) and hit center of tool bolt head. Don't kill the tool but you will have to be hitting the head of it, that is how these were designed to be used. Have fun.

My kids 62 had one that didnt want to come off.I just kept at it.I have an old SnapOn tool.I always keep the nut on the threads just in case they get a little screwed up that way you can clean them up with it when you back they nut all the way off. That and I used some good penetrating oil.Rocky
