Just swapped to aluminum heads on my 440 in my duster and was trying to figure out what to set the valve lash at cold for initial start-up. I was thinking around .018 on both? Is this too tight or too loose? Thanks. 392 gen III hemi on E-85 727 trans Dana 60 10.02@134

But I will have to ask Jason Jones to make sure.I take it you finally got the headers to clear with your new heads.when you taking it to the track? straubtech member S Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 4 NE TN	Set the lash .006" tighter than what it should be hot. Once the head grows then it should be at normal hot setting.
