So I have a mild 440 with 8-71 blower and two 750 holleys. Can I feed this with a -8 line and a magnafuel 275 pump? I think I can but just wanted some other opinions.

That pump wants a -10 in and out and a -8 bypass. So, -10 to the reg and -8 to the carbs.

I have the chrome steel double pumper lines that are like 3/8 max. Do I still need the -10? Seems like a lot of fuel to just be squashed down like that. Or is it more about the available volume? Street strip car.

You could probably get away with -6's ( two per carb) from the reg to the carbs. What are you looking at running for boost?

Run the #8 to the fuel regulator and then individual #6 to each carbs. from the regulator, unless you want to use #8 to the carbs. The needle and seats will be the smallest retsrictor in the fuel supply lines that way BTW,DO NOT use a 10 micron fuel filter between the fuel pump and the fuel cell, gas tank supply lines(only 80 or largermicron size filters ) I learned that one the hard way :crazyme :Call or look at Magnafuels diagrams on line for plumbing thier pumps

Good info!! I had magnafuel design mine. Pre filter = 74 micron. Post filter = 25 micron.

I'm sure the -8 going forward is fine... but ALL
pumps like a larger supply side (inlet to the pump)..
remember that its atmospheric pressure pushing the
fuel into the pump... the pump builds the low pressure
for the fuel to be pushed in

According to Magnafuel
techs. thier 275 pump will feed up to 750 HP , the 300 pump will feed up to 900 HP I bought the 275 pump thinking I woud never make 750 HP, I now own a 300 and 500 pump The blower will make you greedy for more power and traction once you start driving the car Buy the bigger pump now, you won't be sorry later
