If you look at the dash harness, there should be some wire molds that have 3 female sockets. Some are power, some are ground. If there is a free spot, a "bullet" connector available at the auto parts store should fit (there are different sizes) This should eliminate tapping into the harness. I believe this is how the factory powered the various options (like light group) A copy of the wiring diagrams should be available here: http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=24hope this helps

Just hook it to the dash light fuse, it'll work with the headlight switch .

Usually the light system wires under the dash are orange. Just tap into one.
There will be a couple of Orange 3-way molds in the dash wiring....one should be around the ash tray area with two wires in it already. I don't think they dim with the dash rheostat...they supply a constant power when the headlite switch is turned on to either park or head lite positions.

and they do dim, at least on my car. I run all my aftermarket guage lights off it and they work exactly as the factory guage lights.
