hi
i am looking into buying a 1976 dodge duster. it has a 400 in it and im wondering what needs do be done to swap a 440 from my 66 c body in. Both cars are autos and have hp exhaust manifolds. my main concern is weather or not the exhaust will line up. Ive heard it wont because the 400 is a low deck i don't mind swapping manifolds from on engine to the next. just want to avoid hacking the exhaust if possible. thanks nick

An RB is going to move the ex upward & outward I think ~3/4" with the main problem area being the steering column. some 440 A bodies can run HP manifolds depends on the stackup of tolerances. I'd go to www.bigblockdart.com they have info & pics on this very problem.
