Yes it will. I had a 68 grille in my car for years. You'll need the 68 support as well since the hood release is different and in a different location.

Actually the support is the same. You just need the 68 latch and release assembly.
Yep, the metal carrier frame is about the only piece that is the same between the 2 besides some of the headlamp pivot hardware and linkages
