earlybee master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 8,064 Arlington, Texas	Once the pinion angle is set, re-check the side to side measurements, and tack weld the perches on. Weld half of each side of each perch, and then go to the other perch so that you will not concentrate too much heat in one area at one time and warp the housing. Wet rags wrapped around the tubes helps. http://www.moparts.org/Tech/Archive/rearsusp/6.html

Actually, DusterDave really did it for me and he used an angle finder to get the coreect pinion angle. Once that was set, the new perches were welded on and I was good to go! TBF 71 Challenger 528 Hemi project 09 Gr Cherokee 5.7 hemi in da house!!
