A decent grille alone will set you back fifteen bills. After that you have to change the headlamp switch and plumb vacuum lines to the canisters. You'll have to stitch 69 marker lights into the quarters and stitch the 70 holes shut. The good release will need to be swapped out. Your best bet is to find someone cloning a Daytona to trade you the 70 nose for the 69.

Personally I think the 1970 Charger was the best of the 68-70 series Nicer grille and bumper. Razor edge hood with bigger scallops, nicer indicators, nicer side markers. Pistol Grip shifters, high back bucket seats with far nicer upholstery, Tuff wheel available,15" Rallye wheels, R/T door scoops, 440 Six Pack available, high impact colors like Plum Crazy, Sublime Green and Panther Pink, electric headlight doors that actually work, locking column, and the taillight panel and blacked out lenses in 70 give it a full width appearance..... Not knocking the 69 but the divided grille never appealed to me. To me the 70 got it all right.

Finally a Mopart member that knows what he's talking about....and has good taste in what Mopars are all about
