changing from a 998 trans 456 gears 48to 5300 converter 2850 lb car 408ci changing to a pg 5000 to 5500 converter 513 gears car had 134 136 60ft 632 to6.36 depending on weather any thoughts

904/998 456 gear 4800/5600 stall size vert? 2 speed glide, 5200/5500 stall 513 gear. ist gear in 998 vs glide is differnt of course and the glide is all about the way you match the converter to your combo

The car will be easier to drive, one gear change instead of two, and it should be easier to hook on the bad tracks, if the new converter is good, no cheap converters
