I just bought an emblem set for my 74 RR. If you look at R's in the picture you can see that the font for the Road is different than the font in the Runner. You can't tell in the picture but also the Road is a shinier coating and is slightly thicker than than Runner. Didn't really notice the difference until they were on the car and it made the Road stand out over the Runner.

The company is taking them back and giving me my money back but I am curious about something. Does anyone know if these emblems varied from 70-74. They told me that this emblem I got is approved by Chrysler and that all in stock are the same. I'm wondering if Chrysler really approved a two word reproduction emblem with two different styles or if they varied over the years and someone is just mixing them up?

"Authentic" Chrysler approved restoration parts have nothing to do with accuracy or quality - it's all about the money.

Don't care if they are authentic or not, I only want the Road and the Runner to be the same.
