Somebody here put one on an E-body or B-body several years ago, and it never worked right. Best I remember, it had terrible bump steer problems. I think those were made by Unisteer? or something like that?

I have never used this system but I did read their install manual and that U-joint setup for the steering column looks like a problem waiting to happen.

I would never put something with such a severe angle on my steering column. This is a half-brained 'solution' at best. For $1000, go with a rebuilt factory setup with a stage 3 Firm Feel box or do the Borgeson conversion.

Bump steer AND a reduced turning radius.

There was some bad feedback about this quite some time ago. I don't see the point in spending this amount of money just for the sake of having a "rack". If you want to do it, do it right with a complete new front suspension system that moves the rack out front and, eliminates the torsion cars, etc..

Junk! For all the reasons stated above plus the lack of technical assistance from Unisteer. I dumped my kit on ebay a few years back stating all the problems with it and that it's best suited for a drag car to save weight or any other situation where you don't have to make turns. I've even tried the Borgeson box and frankly I like the Firm Feel OE box best.

Thanks for the responses, think I'll stay with the stock system.
