Hi everyone! Im currently tuning in my 750 HP DP carb. Keep in mind this carb is on a stock 318(for now, I know its big for it) turbo charged motor. Im trying to get it to just idle clean and burn cleaner. Right now it is a real eye burner at idle or manually pressing the gas by hand. This carb I bought used and it was on a 600hp procharged chevy assuming lower altitude then my 5500ft. Heres the run down of carb specs. Turning in the mixture screws seem to do very difference which lead me to change the power valves, and I did, but they still seem to do little difference.

65prim/70rear jets.
7.5"prim/6.5"rear PowerValves, brand new.
6psi fuel pressure, floats set.
75 outer idle air bleeds front,36 inner high speed air bleed, 23 all rear bleeds.

Any recommendations would be helpful!

.023" all rear air bleeds will make it rich. Try using the same size in the rear as you have in the front. Then tune your metering screws.

If your metering screws have no affect, then you may be idling too fast and not on the idle circuit.
