I had to use the dual plug seals on my single plug headed 426 Hemi in the coronet. I used plugs to accommodate the fact that they are single plug heads.
Is anyone repoping these sealing plates for these old Dual plug valve covers? Or is there a source to buy them? I would really like to keep the valve covers on her, but I think the plugs I installed look a little hokey!
They don't leak even with the little bit of reshaping I had to do because of the spring height.

This is what you're looking for. They're from an NOS set I sold years ago. IIRC, this stock setup doesn't really work well for the street as the blockoff plate is held to the valve cover by the active spark plug tube. With the plate being held on one end only, the seal over the inactive plug hole is not good and leaks. I'm thinking your plug approach is really a superior move.
