Wallace says it takes 607 hp for my 3150 lb car to run 10.08 and its mild mannered, 15" vacuum at idle. I drive it all over I have a 470 sitting on the floor. Going this route will allow for a tight converter and mild gear, which will be essential to towing. Look at BSB67s '67 Charger, he's well in the 11s with a stock torque converter, 3.23s, and manifolds as I recall and his car is HEAVY.
