340 ina 72 cuda. i keep having an oil leak at oil filter houseing. when i first put the motor together i used the flat plate adapter, it leaked not from around the filter but the adapter that bolts to the block. i have since changed to a new 90 adapter from mopar, it seemed to help but it did not fix the leak. anybody else run into this? or any ideas on how to fix it? thanks

the round gasket recess in the block needs to be cleaned well & I think there's a better gasket for it that someone mentioned when there was a prior thread on this & the bolt goes to 50 ft lbs.

The FelPro gasket is really thick. Clean both surfaces with Brake Parts Cleaner (leaves no residue) and clean paper towels until there is zero oil on the surfaces. I use a thin, very thin, film of RTV sealer on both sides.
