'75 D100 shortbed - Doing a BB swap with son and as part of that we're dropping the suspension using van LCA's.

Extracted UCA bushings and have offset (Raybestos) bushings to install for anticipated camber correction. The new offset bushings did not come with those funky washer/retainers you normally find on each end. Presumably will need to reuse the old ones but I notice they really don't cup the end of the bushings like they would on standard bushings.

Should I reuse them anyway or use larger washers as spacers on the end?

Also, each control arm had one bushing with an additional steel sleeve pressed over the inside end. Not really sure what purpose they serve (additional support maybe) but should be fun finding something just right diameter to press them back on the new bushings.

I reused the factory washers also. They don't fit the best but they work. I didn't use the extra sleeves though, I didn't see a purpose for them and woulda been a PITA to put back on.

Thanks - I'll reuse the factory washers. I pressed the bushings in yesterday and it wasn't hard to press the additional sleeves back on so, whether they're needed or not, we're good to go. Waiting on a centerlink and the entire front end can go back together.

Nice! Your truck is looking good. I'm at about the same progress as you are. Keep the picks coming. BTW where in Washington are you at? I'm in Marysville.

Nice! That was going to be my guess with the mountains in the background in your video. Do you ever get over to the shows or swaps over on the west side? BTW I love the Duster!!

Thanks - I haven't been to any events on the west side for years. But I hope to change that.
