Anyone out there I'm restoring a 70 340 duster,Putting in a 2006 Hemi 5.7 with a carb and intake manifold should I wire the car with a painless kit or buy the O.E.M harnesses I have to add a electric fuel pump for the motor anyway and a electric fan

I'd get the OEM harness if it were me. Painless wiring is not always painless. lol

I'm saving pennies to put an aftermarket system into my car. Factory stuff is great for resto cars, but with all the electrical changes in my car..no way I'd bother spending all the money on a factory one and hacking it to pieces.

For a car thats modified Painless or one of the other aftermarket suppliers, Stock is easy to just pluh into a stock vehicle but like Goodie poointes out you'll be changing so much it makes no sense...

Since your going with a new engine and far from what came stock I would go with the Painless wiring harness.
