Buddy is currently running Accel 116 plugs in his 416 with stock x heads and 10.1 comp and recomendations on other brands and part number? Part numbers would be welcome.

Accel is a good brand, I have some of their yellow racing plugs. Is he having an issue with what he currently has in there?

His plugs seem to be little dark and smell lightly of fuel. They have been in there for quite a while during carb tuning and timing changes, and looking to replace with a new set and looking for options.

Alright, Been awhile since there was a plug type recommendation thread but iirc NGK got good reviews. I've never had an issue with any brand but many have especially with so many being made offshore now

I started with Champions. But the car liked Autolite 3924 much better.

I've been trying 3926's since last september. No noticable improvements, probably go back to 3924's.

I ran Autolites since the 60s in both BBs and SBs.Now we run NGKs.They seem to run better and cleaner.I used a lot of them at work also.Rocky
