I am restoring a 1968 Dodge Charger RT. It still has the original 7 leaf/6 leaf springs. There does not appear to have any noticeable sagging in rear or unevenness side to side, even after measuring.

Would reusing these be a problem to longevity or reliability? I do intend to drive this car, but would like to keep as many original parts as I can.

What would rebuilding these accomplish other than a chance to detail?

Most of my cars have original not rebuilt leaf springs and they're fine
rebuilding pretty much just replaces the plastic slides between the leaves and replaces the clamps

Take them to a spring shop and they can re-arch them.
