My guess is that they are junk. But I thought I would ask if anyone has seen or used these rockers before? http://www.ebay.com/itm/PRW-BB-Mopar-383...d6a&vxp=mtr Looking for a steel rocker for basically a mild 440. But I want a true 1.5 rocker ratio. Unlike the stamped rockers. Thanks

Bought a bunch of PRW stuff for my small block, Ended up replacing all of it. Broke a rocker shaft on first run.

Looks like the price of cheap chinese crap has gone up. the picture looks like the lower price point part that Mancini has listed for similar money ??

have you ever tried checking the rocker ratio on stamped rockers? from the testing i've done the low ratio stuff is more myth than fact. i don't buy in to it. i think a prominent vendor started this to get you to buy his stuff.

small print says we inspect for defects but small flaws are INEVITABLE.14 day money back guarantee,1 year warranty on parts, why accept any flaws?because Chinese parts are built strictly from stolen specs and infringed patents, copied using crap materials for profit.their idea of "runout" is when the cat gets away from the butcher block....I bet they would last a long time if you never started the motor.i know the hemi versions of these were horrible, the roller axles were loose after less than 2000 miles.please buy the good stuff!there are plenty of makers and plenty of used good rockers out there if you are on a budget.stop supporting the ti ni dong racing parts industry and they will dry up and blow away....

They are budget made Harland Sharp rockers (roller tip, unbushed fulcrum). Whole package. American made. Or get some from Hughes.

They look like the Pro-Comps I've been running for a few years with no issue. I would'nt pay THAT for them, though! For that sort of money, I'd go with a more reputable name.

With that said, I've had good luck with these on my motor. I run a fairly tame, streetable solid cam.

I'm not sure if the PRW rockers are the same as the CAT rockers, but they look the same, but with better hold downs? I bought some 1.7:1 ratio Stainless Steel CAT rockers on a closeout deal for $200, and the roller tips were already wearing after 500 miles. I din't think they were hardened? Anyhow, I replaced them with some Harlan Sharpe rockers.

So why is Mancini selling them if they're so bad? Just got a new Mancini flyer and there they were, PRW.

Because people will buy them.. just because its Mancini
it doesnt mean they have to be good quality parts..
what gets them a buck

Which ones , they have 2 different setups there , very confusing as to which are the sharps without the roller fulcrum ???

John,

The ones in the the upper left, referred to as "Mancini Racing". NOT the "PRM" on the right and below. The HS pieces are priced at $419.95 (1.5 or 1.6 ratio) or $429.95 (1.5 & 1.6 mixed). Closely priced near what the OP was/is looking at.

If you read the PRM info........you'd have seen this.........
"PRW Torx aviation quality fasteners, and needle roller bearings from one of the finest manufacturers in the world comprise the foundation of Performance Quotient Rocker Arms and Rocker Arm Systems."
