Coming down to the wire (pun intended) - Spring Fling then Vegas - Can someone tell me the correct path to route the wiring from the starter relay down to the trans? The wiring looks very long.. like it's supposed maybe to go from the drivers side, across the firewall, then down the passenger side of the trans before going over to the drivers side where the neutral safety switch is. I've checked all my printed material for clues but am unsure. Oh.. '69 Charger with 440 and automatic. Thanks everyone... Mike

That's not correct for a '69 440, see below.

I was going to say. I just removed the one off of Dad's 69 GTX with the 440 and the wiring was secured on the driver side.

Ok, so it looks like it does head over to the passenger side before it goes up. Didn't seem right but if that's how it is that's how I'll do it. Thanks everyone!

The clip labeled 5707 in my diagram mounts on the top tailhousing bolt on the drivers side.

Since it shows the speed switch at the speedo cable (item H) I'd say it's '71-later.
