Im getting things ready for my 70 Road Runner project and have had this six pack intake set-up for a couple years now and I need some help figuring out what I have.

The front carb has either a driffent float bowl or its the wrong carb all together??

Okay, so I RE-LOOKED AT THE NUMBERS TODAY>

Rear carb-1219 LIST 4394
Center -0919 LIST 4391
Front -1139 LIST 4393


I was told that it came off a A-12 car that was wrecked back in 1971-72 and sitting in a detroit junkyard and that the guy bought it and stuck it on his new 1972 GTX (440-4sp-dana) and thats where it remained till I bought the car a few years ago and took the intake off and put it upstairs in the garage, Now I want to figure out what I have and get it all re-done!

Rear carb-12-19 LIST 4394 = 1969 Outboard
Center -09-18 LIST 4391 = 1969 4-sp Manual Center
Front -11-37 LIST 4398 = ?

Are you sure on the 4398? I don't have anything for that one. There should be date codes as well......................

According to the Holley Specs manual

4394 would be the correct rear for both auto and manual
4391 would be the correct center for a manual tranny
4398 doesn't exist. Most likely it is 4393 which is the correct front for auto and manual

Fuel bowl likely has been replaced in the past.

Where are the date code's at? I thought the 1219,0918, and 1137 other numbers like that were the date codes.

Please post CLEAR photos of the numbers on each and I'll be glad to verify what you have. Some of the posts above are likely correct but good pics will make the List numbers and dates crystal clear.

Pictured here is 440-6 center carb for auto tranny used in a 70 model. The date code is above the List number and is 2549 which means 254th day of 69. The last digit "9" is the last digit of the year. I think that since it's so late in year it was destined to be married to the early next year models being 70.

Re-looked at everything this morning. Here's what i have.

Middle carb. 0919 LIST 4391

Front carb 1139 LIST 4393

From what I can make out in your pics those dates are close enough to call them a matched set
