Stamped numbers on a 1969 440 #1597346

I was looking at my 440 out of a 1969 Coronet R/T convertible.
I found a stamping on the bottom of the block left side of engine
next to the bell housing facing down with the stamping of:
PT440O24770475. Does anyone know what this is and have a decoder
for it?

PT = Trenton, MI engine assembly plant
440 = 440 cu.in.
O (are you sure this is a "O"?)
2477 = Thursday May 9, 1968 engine assembly date
0475 = 475th engine the above date

It seems to be too early for a '69 engine, what is stamped on the top pad?

top pad E440 8 9 440.
Vin is stamped on the pad right side above oil pan.

How do you get the date from the numbers 2477?

An August built car should have the whole VIN on the block too.

The P in the bottom stamping means Premium fuel required.

The car is beige in color. the last numbers from the vin are 125064.
I have one photo small enough to post now.
