Some of you may have read my post back in Feb about me discovering my block was cracked on both sides. Given my original engine builder is no longer in business I began my quest to find a west coast engine builder with Mopar experience. Thanks to many different suggestions on this forum I talked to several and decided on IMM. We discussed what needed to be done and agreed to a delivery date. Well things are never simple and when they opened the engine discovered some not so good things. They didn't let that stop them! they still delivered the engine ON TIME and ON BUDGET!!!!!!!!!!

Proof would be in the running and last night took it out for some passes and everything went flawless... no leaks, ran great, didn't overheat...

So, I am a very satisfied customer and they get my recommendation to anyone who might need a quality engine build.

So off to the NMCA opener next week at Fontana and if I can manage to drive as well as IMM builds, will be hosting my first trophy for the season....

Spoke to Brian at IMM several times. He is getting my business for my small block next time around. A professional and expert at his craft

I bought a set of roller lifters with the EDM hole
from Brian... I gather he was in on the design of them..
they're in my 416 right now and hopefully for a good
length of time

Good to hear you are back up and running. Glad you are headed to Fontana with a happy car and driver.

How about some details of your combo and have you uprated the motor, or is it just a fresh block and rebuild ?

Given the engine has always produced enough power for me to run well under my 10.50 index, Brian and I decided just to refresh the engine replacing parts that needed it and shoot for the same output so all my existing data would still be usable. As an engine builder he couldn't help but point out several areas where he could get me more power, but I resisted the temptation and kept it consistent with what I have been running. Nice to know that if I wanted to lower my index to say 10.25, I could without too much effort.

Brian, that rascal I purchased my 360-1 heads, intake, cam and lifters from him. Since then I've broken torque convertors twice twisted both the input and output shafts in my 904 and broke ring and pinion in the rear. Aside from that I've achieved a number of personal bests, been to the pay out window several times and kicked quite a few Chevys and piperacks azz.Plus he's easy to talk to on the phone. Would I recommened him? HELL YEAH!!
