A couple years ago , I had the same exact problem . Change everything you did + the ignition box, but not the valve springs. Everything electrical checked ok . Finally got to the point where the only thing I had left to change was the pick up in the distributor. I had run ohms tests on it several times and it always showed "good". I changed it and the problem was gone ! Spent a lot of $$$ trying to figure that one out !

I ran 1st time Sat at GMP same issue .Revs good, starts fine we had jetted up because ofgood air fresh motor and new bigger cam still on alky for last 10 years .
Popped in top rpm in water box and all rpm change down track .Jetted down same senerio .
Found a plug wire not on all the way picked up 10th but popping not as much only at top of shift changes .Been on maybe 9 years 75 to 100 pass's a year So changing wires and plugs will be my next try to the track in couple weeks .Car sits in trailer winter time wondering if moisture is culprit .
Looking into firecore since he is a member and a mopar sponsor at races .
