Yep, I have enough stuff to fill the one in Oklahoma between tools and shop equipment, and barely have room to put a car in there...I want to build a 50 by 100 steel building, and live upstairs and down on one end, and the rest as shop, with ample parking room too...the tax folks dont know it would be anything more than a barn....

Consider the land is already bought, along with a mobile home.. and ya can build a big steel building for what you can build a house for....finish the inside part to live in as ya can....I have seen this done on a budget equal to building a 2000 sq ft house....if you put the building up yourself. The concrete and rough in plumbing and electrical are pretty expensive in themselves.
But once it is in the dry, ya can work on it year round to finish it out, not to mention have a HUGE shop to put all your treasures in out of the weather....I have patience...

Anyway...on the building, I do woodworking, and tile work, and need a lot of shop and storage room for that alone...I am crowded in the 25 by 25 I use for that now. I have anoyher 24 by 26 to use as a garage here in Amarillo...it is crowded too, barely room to work on a truck. So I need a whole lot more shop space, and I just think it is the most logical way to build a house and big enough shop too, with real indoor parking too..., plus It sure would be nice to walk out the back door of the house and not have to ever walk outside to the shop like I do now...
