Whats the hp difference between first and last place on the qualifying list?

I doubt there's any significant HP difference between first and last on the qualifier list. The big difference would be in the tuning and setup and the driver. Lane choice can often be more important than power.

Look at the speeds. Some are down 3-4 mph. I would think that would equate to 50-60 or so horse.

Also the clutch is important on how P/S car gets down the track and how much power it puts to the ground. The clutch can also cause less hp to the ground if not right. Ron

i know set up causes some et loss,but my reason for asking at the last round McGaha had a .970 60ft time and Matt Hartford had a.977 which was a lot better than most except McGaha,but qualified towards the back? love rooting for the underdog So Its Hartford with Nickens power for me.
