I reuse them all the time. Clean, spray between layers and both top and bottom
Just take a good luck at them and make sure there's no splits or cracks. If they look good, clean, respray, and reinstall.

I've reuse them with no spray before or after, just like the instruction say I did a freshen on a customers motor several years ago that had a old set on them that had been reused a bunch of times, enough so the nitrile rubber coating was starting to flake off, he said drill the rivets and spray the copper coat between the steel shim layers and use them, that worked That is a 572 C.I. motor that has a honest 14.9 to 1 compression ratio, still running today after 3 or 4 years of running now and then, probally less than 100 1/8 mile runs and a lot less 1/4 mile runs

I have reused them many times as well. Never had an issue.
