Good? Bad?

Any gains from switching to a roller design? Getting rid of the springs?

530-670 lift

I like those Isky's (the nodular iron one's right) but they have limitations. I wouldn't use them with a cam much over .500 lift. Just my opinion.

Great rockers, unbreakable. Years and years on a .640 lift solid. Ditch the springs and build spacers.

Do you think they would hold up to a old Racer Brown roller from the mid 80s?
I think 680 lift, not sure.
Engine has a Comp XE290S .540/.558 lift.

I'm sure it would work, many guys ran them back in the day. I'd prefer to use lash caps, and carefully set up the sweep, as spacers on the pedestals may be required. The only drawback would possibly be excessive side loading on the guides, but as I said, I had over 900 passes with mine on a set of Edelbrock RPMs, now the heads and rockers are on my brother's street truck, also with a 640 solid, and we've had zero valve train problems.

I'm gonna try it and see how it looks, I think 230 on the seat would be enough to keep the valves under control, the lobes are not square like the modern stuff.

I know many SS M.W. racers used the OEM Mopar ductile iron rockers for years running roller cams and valve springs, same thing on many SS Hemi racers I will send my ductile iron rockers to Rocker Arm Spec.(530-242-1316) now that Gary has the company back in his control, for bushing, blueprinting and ratio correcting The older Isky with the welded on harden tips on the valve stem end are a lot better looking, stouter looking, than the newer ones that look just like the Cranes, Ersons and other company that sold that brand of ductile iron adjustable rockers for B/RB Mopar motors

I'm interested in having this done to my set too. Any idea how much this costs?

Call Gary and ask him, I have them do all the things they do, change the ratio, bush and rebuild the rockers and do the tips

I herd the ratio of them is all over the place....

On assembly I might check each valve and see what the variables are.

Do that I've seen a bunch of differences on the stock 426 Street Hemi rockers, a big bunch I do now check all the rockers for ratio at the retainers with light checking springs I've seen .015 lift differences on the good rockers like T&D single shafts B/RB systems

I had mine done about 4 years ago when they were still RAS and 4he cost with new shafts was just a bit over $500 and I really feel like I got what I paid for
