Last time I rebuilt an engine, I thought the ring gaps and clearences were with the ring instructions. Did rings come with pistons? If anything, back to the top for you.

Ring gaps would probably be standard but you want to know for a fact on the piston clearance and where that particular piston wants to be measured. You will probably have to call Ma Mopar on that.

This is a normally aspirated, premium pump gas motor w/ aluminum heads.
Total seal file fit rings recommend bore x .0045.They also recommend opening the second ring .004 larger than the top, So yours would be .020 top ring and .024 second ring.

P/W clearence .0045/.005 measured 1.300" below bottom of oil ring land. Ring end gap.Top ring-boreX .0045 2nd ring-boreX .0035 oil ring rail,min. .015 These are for N/A street,strip,and circle applications.
