Just got done with removing the under coating of my 69 B body with a pressure steam washer. I tried the Propane torch and putty knife and it just was taking to long and a big mess. I read several posts about using a steam pressure washer to do this but everyone was using a rotisserie which i do not have. So i figured i would give it a shot with out one.

I jacked the car up on 6 ton jack stands as far as i could. Put on a full set of old rain gear and went to work. I just crawled under the car and the stuff came of like butter, One thing to watch for, when I rented the steam washer it came with a 30 degree tip, i changed it to a 15 and made a big differance. I got pretty wet but it came out really good. Another bonus is you can spray down the whole car and it ends up super clean. There were a few small places i could not get to but i can scrap those clean. I would rather get wet then have that hot crap fall on me.
