Do the 67"s have front speaker mounting pattern and dimensions the same as the 68-72? I want to put a front speaker of some sort in the Satellite to go with the 6X9's in the rear. This ebay ad http://www.ebay.com/itm/260901123867?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT says this fits 68-72 Roadrunner. It looks the same as the one I have, but does anyone know it Plymouth changed something that would prevent it's use in a 67? Don't want to cut up the door or kick panels to mount front speakers.

i can't answer you about fitment but you would be better off going to Radio shack or a parts store to buy it. they are less than $20 and if it don't fit just return it.

If you're using your factory radio or 8 track, you'll need 8 ohm
speakers. Most new aftermarket speakers are 4 ohm & unless you wire
them in series, you'll risk damaging your radio. Wiring in series
isn't the best option, either, since you'll end up with mono instead
of stereo. Here's a link to Turnswitch, who makes hi perf 8 ohm
speakers & I'm considering their 4x10 dual speaker for my center dash
speaker. http://turnswitch.com/speakers.htm
I had 5 of their speakers in my Challenger w/ am 8 track &
it sounded awesome. Scroll down when you open the link & you'll see the mopar 4x10.

I have one of these ordered so I don't need the 8 ohm speaker. http://www.ebay.com/itm/171259131903?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649. I thought it would physically fit, but wanted to see if anyone had any experience with fitment & the model year differences. I haven't ruled out some sort of "box" speaker enclosure facing forward under the front seats. Not optimal positioning I know but not wanting to cut new holes limits the options.

you won't be happy with a single speaker under there. there have been several discussions in the past month about dual 3 1/2 speakers. try a search. 74DART makes a bracket to fit under there and hold 2 3 1/2 speakers.
