What I remember after asking NHRA division Six tech. for the specs for the starting line is no higher than three inches to trip the starting line beams and eleven inches max center to center on the pre stage to the stage beams. I've heard, not told to me by any NHRA officials though, that the finish line beams are suppose to be no higher than six inches high maximum to trip the beams.
