Going to change the fluid/filter soon and am wondering if there is a drain plug on the T/C on the NAG1? Seems pointless to just drop the pan and change the fluid in there, while leaving just as much old stuff in the T/C and cooler lines, anyone got an answer? I checked the lxforums and couldn't find an answer

What kind of issues did you have with your tranny that you had to change the T/C?

The important part of dropping the pan is to change the filter, clean the magnet and clean the bottom of the pan. The cooler, lines and torque converter are full of fluid but at least it's filtered fluid.

It's the same with engine oil change. Getting every last drop out of the engine is not important. Drain the bulk of it. Replace the filter and call it done.
