I want to convert to a rallye cluster in my 71 Charger. It has a standard cluster. I have a 72 rallye dash and harness. Any wiring pitfalls I need to be aware of?

wiper swith plug changes, although uses same wiring, so need to change the plug from one to the other... 72 harness have seatbelt warning system linked to a control relay and seatbelt retractors than 71 doens't have ( just time delay flasher controlled if seatbelt light equipped ). Will remain without use, including one buzzer for this.
Tranny harness gets the NSS ground to the cab to control the seatbelt warning system which 71s don't so you'll find an extra brown wire on bulkhead to 72 harness.
This changes the blower and compressor clutch wires disposition on bulkhead cavities if AC equipped, because 71s uses the two empty cavities from NSS harness/plug for these, however 72s and lates split these wires on bulkhead cavities available ( one of the NSS plug and one of the engine harness plug ). Some other wires COULD be turned around on bulkhead so, check for that, just in case.
not hard to do though

OH! and driver side door jam switch plug changes from 3 pins in 71 to dual prong in 72s like your actual passenger side, so you can either change the switch or change the plug. Easier change the switch.

Just doing the cluster not the whole dash, so no rivets.
Nacho - so I dove into this conversion and looking to keep my 2 speed wiper set up. The 71 standard cluster has the 2 speed wiper switch with an extra gray or white wire all by itself that the 72 doesn't have. I traced it down to a 20 amp fuse marked EMERG FLASH. Is that the time delay flasher you mentioned? The 72 harness has no such wire and the plug is a single plug I believe for a 3 speed switch. What do I do about that just not worry about that wire any more, no big deal if that isn't hooked to the wiper switch? Thanks again for the help.
