48 r block question with w5 heads work if I use a w2 48 intake ?

I would think the push rods would be a issue too. The lifters are moved in a 48* block. I would guess you could do it but would have to clearance heads for push rods.

The push rods holes have to be REALLY opened up...
the difference is just the 48* lifter bores so if you
get the push rods to fit just put the W-5 intake on
it ... if its the tall block then it should go right
on but if its the short 9.2 deck its gonna take some
mill work to fit being that the heads are much closer

And if it's a 9.00 deck then even more milling of intake.

Sorry I for got to say it was a 9.2 how much milling are we talking ? With using a 48 degree w2 intake

I dont know but if its made for a 9.2 to should
bolt on... your gonna have to check that

Ray didn't you pass on my 9.200 deck block because it was a 59 degree?

Now you want to put 59 degree heads on a 9.200 48 degree block?

I have a 9.20 deck 59 r3 block that I would swap for a 48 if you want the only problem is I am in NJ

and I have a fully cnc'd X block tall deck with bushed lifer bores and 4 bolt mains. all machine work done by Dan at Performance Only from a virgin X block brand new and ready to go.

We have a tall deck 48 degree block with w5's on it. Used the Indy intake and heads were clearanced for pushrods. Jesel rockers and crane roller lifters.
