Is this the correct PCV for a 72 and up say 400 or 440 engine?
And if so does it get painted along with grommet like the earlier years.
Memory is not what it used to be!!

The '72 parts book lists #3671076, which looks to be number on the valve in the pic, so I would say it is correct. I am not sure on the painting part.

Correct valve and valve and bushing were painted

Originals were more of a milky sorta creamy clear beige color

Thats one of the ones was still avail as late as mid 90's

Might look right once painted , but it's not 100% OE

It's a brownish color - a guy on here sells them. I've decided that I'm not painting over the NOS original parts. If someone wants to spray paint over the engine when/if I sell the car, then they can...lol
