gerty OP member G Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 44 Burkesville Ky.	I bought an '86 D150 and the tailgate won't open with the handle, have to use a screwdriver on the left side catch. How would I go about fixing this? Bob

If that don't do it I've only seen one tailgate handle assy wear out in 40+years but you can check while you have it out
