I had to have my crank repaired after a thrust bearing issue and ended up with it cut .020. Its a forged stroker crank so its not cheap to replace. I have a very limited selection of bearings, basically Clevite p series or Sealed power MA bearings, anyone smarter than me on this one have any advice. I was leaning towards the MA 3/4 groove? Thanks.

I don't know if this link gives you any more choices or info, but it's probably worth checking out: http://www.hughesengines.com/Index/produ...level3=Ky4wMjAi

Thanks Brad, That is one more option. I would like some opinions on brands and 1/2, 3/4, or Full groove. Anyone else have some suggestions? Thanks again?

I would use the full groove bearings. I prefer clevite bearings but usually if using clevite bearings the crank needs to be .021 under to have .002+ clearance.

I like and use the Speed Pro 4095 narrow groove main bearings on all the engines I can get them for I think Speed Pro may have stop making that bearing in some sizes, probally due to not enough demand
