Any one know where I can find the factory weight for a 1937 Dodge 2dr sedan?

37 Dodge model D 6:
2 door flat back 5 passenger sedan 2992lbs, total production 5,302.
2 door trunk back 5 passenger sedan 2997 lbs, total production 44,750.
They also list 3 long wheel base models
A D 6 2 door 5 passenger flat back sedan 2880 lbs, no production #s,
A D 6 2 door trunk back 5 passenger sedan 2895 lbs, and
A D 7 2 door trunk back 5 passenger sedan 2970 with no production #s

Regular wheel base is 115" and the long wheel base is 132".

So you need to know if your car has a trunk or had the spare tire mounted on the trunkless flat sheet metal, which wheel base your car has, and if it is the fancy model with all the extra chrome trim or the more plain Jane model. What's interesting it that the long wheel base cars were lighter then the short wheel base cars. Weight ranges from 2880lbs to 2997lbs.
All numbers are according to the Standard Catalog of Chrysler 1924-1990.

The weights listed from the factory are the "shipping weight" and these are notoriously low to save money on shipping costs which were charged by the pound.

The "curb weight" if you can find it is closer to the car's actual weight.
