I'm looking to convert my 1969 RR to manual disc setup in the front. I like the firm feel of the manual brakes and weight loss off the booster. I have all drums now. Are these kits worth it?? It looks fairly straight forward with them and the price is in the right range. these old drums just don't cut it trying to stop from triple digits. Any particular brands or companies would be appreciated! Thanks this site is always helpful for my decisions.

Personally I like to use factory parts, that way the parts store usually has pads and rotors if I need them.
My RR has 73-76 stuff and my 67 has them from an 87.

who is that guy?

I believe the 73-76 A disc spindles will fit. & with some 11&3/4" slider adapters/rotors/ceramic pads/bed in procedure you'd have a cheap adequate setup (15" wheels required with 11&3/4). The aftermarket swaps might be lighter & for sure more $$$.

I covered all of the available kits in my B-body book. Doctor Diff's setup is the best kit available for a standard 15 inch wheel.
