I know where a '64 or 5 Ford sb and a '67 or 8 Chevy sb are sitting in side yards. Both pretty clean looking from the road. Just not my cup of tea.

92 & 93 Dodge trucks were hard to find around here 10 years ago. Since the 94s came out, the older trucks have seemed to vanish, but I guess the 94s are now 20 years old. Sure doesn't seem like they should be that old already. Guess that explains why they have huge miles and rust.
The Chevy and Ford trucks are very hard to find that are in good condition too. A lot of the GM trucks have rusty frames, and the Fords were pledged with several motor/driving issues.
Since about the mid-late 90s, standard cabs have pretty well disappeared, even from the new truck show rooms of every brand. Everyone was told they needed an extended cab or a quad cab, and was given little other choice.
A standard cab, short box 2 wheel drive truck is a very rare critter these days, and then you expect to find one in great shape? Who can afford to trade in a good truck these days? Most will only trade one in when a problem develops with their old truck. Gene

How many Clubcab Shortages do you see running around?
Around here, with the 94 & newer, the club, quad, (or extended cab if you want to call them that, what were the 3 door cabs called?) with short boxes are the normal style of truck to be found, and a high percentage of those are 4x4. Now for the pre 94, standard cab long box were the most seen, but those are few, and far between, sightings these days. My brother in law lives near the Denver Co area, for many years he collected the club cab, short box, 4x4, big block trucks! At one time he had at least 4 of them. Nice, rust free, high mountain, CO trucks! I doubt he has many, if any, left, he has moved a couple of times in the last 15-20 years. Gene
