I just can't get comfy in my Barracuda so I'm thinking about adding a 6 way seat. Question is are the aftermarket frames any good or am I better off looking for an original? I don't mind spending the money but hate getting stuck with expensive junk.
If anyone has some feedback I'd love to hear it.
Thanks v/much!!!

Classic carries them. Don't know who is making them.

I stumbled on a place that had them re-popped for around $600. That will definitely put the originals in perspective. I can't remember where it was, but the price should be right on what they advertised it for. I will do some backtracking and see if I can find the site. Don't have any idea on quality though.

PG Classics has the frames for $515 and the under floor braces for another $105
I've bought from pg before with good results but I'm still a little cautious.
Not sure if Mike at BEA has them, they don't show online at his site.

Got a call from a very informed vendor on these. Guess the welds on the frames are terrible but the metal stampings are good. Sounds like if you re-weld and re-paint the parts the frames would be ok. Something to keep in mind if anyone tries one out!
