When I saw the subject line I thought it must be a joke, then I saw the first pic and I got that sick feeling. Truly sorry for you man, know how much you've put into this car. Glad nobody got hurt.

Jimmy, so sorry to see that. Hopefully as you say "it looks worse than it is" is true and the repair is manageable. Good Luck.

I was hoping to see a wicked burnout pic. Glad you're O.K. If you say it isn't as bad as it looks, I'll have to believe you

It's just a learning curve. As far as we know no one else is running a screw and EFI on alky.

I will get passed it it just sucks, fire department saved the car from becoming junk.

Tomorrow will be another day I guess we will finish taking it apart next week and start to fix it.AGAIN

Yep, it sucks, but your OK and yes, It's just a
car. Your kids want a dad over a car. Just be
safe and take it one step at a time.
Kinda like John Force, being on fire.
I wish you safe luck.

Yes but the screws on the bottles were not removed to prevent my kids from accidentally setting them off.I was worried when it was on fire as I was trying to take the screws out of the bottles and just got scared it was going to get worse while I was in the car and I would be trapped taking out the screws.

Dude, I really feel sorry for you. That is a bad way to start on a new car. I sincerely hope that you can figure out what went wrong first so it never happens again Is it possible that it was to lean and backfired thru the blowwr or is it possible thai it tried to hydraulic from being to fat? Either way I really hope you find it right away, does the big stuff have a memeory you can look back at still? Please let us know what you find, maybe that can help someone else down the road
