Looking for the correct numbers for 1970 E-body 4-spd shift/operating levers. I believe this is right:

1-2 - #367
3-4 - #366
Rev - #368

The originals I have all have a single hole for the rod. All the repros I see have the double hole (for shorter shifter throw)?

Anyone have any pics of unrestored 1970 E-body shifter rods? I'm looking for details on type of plating (if any), inspection daubs, etc. I have an original set with a blob of orange paint on the 3-4 Rod. Another has a blob of green.

Attached pic is of the 1-2 shift lever

Thanks!

A few pics of a NOS set that I used to own... not sure if finish would be the same, but believe it might... There are also a few glimpses of paint dabs too... FWIW....

Tony - Thanks - Great pics. I'll clean mine up and post some pics. The 3-4 rod I have has a bunch of orange just like yours.

What's the story on the operating levers? When did they change over from a single hole to a double? I'm trying to figure out what is right for a T/A (with 01 Apr SPD)

Did anyone reproduce the single hole levers for E-bodies?

2 hole levers originated on the 70 T/A AAR. In 71 they all got the 2 hole 057/058 levers.
