long story in short: i have in Russia - dodge chellanger r/t 440, may be only 5 cars in russia and my is one of them. I'm the only person who wants to build a 440 engine
what i have is a stock 440 from 70r/t + edelbrock torker 2 intake manifold + FAST ez-efi V.1 kit
I have hughes 727 rated at 550hp(next will be a manual trany)
I will run the car hard - agressive acceleration, sideways, turns, drifting all day long (street race and city drag NO strip)

I don't have a big budget, and according to the big shipping quotes I'm looking for your advices.

My goal for the engine is strong heavy duty 520-550hp engine, which I'll be drving 3-4times a week

There are 2 options that I'm looking into:

1) If I will stay with my stock crank (I will repair and balance it) In this case I will stay with my stock displacement
4secondsflat is offering a premium FULL rebuild kit, whch includes everything that I need + Melling HV Oil Pump + TRW forged pistons...
Aluminum 440sourceheads or Edelbrock RPM???
what cam???
ther is SET of Hydraulic roller for sale(lifters, cam, timing set, push rods, Rockers Arms, Shafts )
Duration (Int/Exh): 294/302
Duration .050 (Int/Exh): 243/251
Lift (Int/Exh): .570/.573

What rods do I need?

I'm planni to run on 91 pump gas, what is the best pistons compression for it?

2) OR i can go with a stroker !
I called @ 440source, they almost didn't give me any advices. They just told me to buy their 500 stroker kit and aluminum heads - "and you will be fine!".
In this case, what about the timing set, oil pump, oil sump and etc.

Why not just buy one thats together and running ,, plane ticket to here is a small expense for what you can get ..for example have a 493 stroker that I have 9000$ in ,,542 hp with iron heads ,, 4500$ takes it complete running..drive the car here and take the motor back with you...and there are many more guys here with motors for sale...

If you decide to buy the stock stroke parts with that cam listed use the Eddy RPM heads and shoot for no more than 10.5 to 1 compression ratio with the aluminum heads Don't run any more than 9.5 to 1 or less, if you run the stock cast iron heads On the rods I would buy a decent set of aftermarket, Chineze made probally, forged H beam rods I will warn you in advance when you start hopping up the 440 motors in those cars, E bodys, traction can and will become a issue It is not really hard to make and exceed 500 HP and 540 Ft lbs of torque with a stock stroke 440 and decent parts For your deal, street driving and drifting, I would probally try to buy a Eddy Performer RPM 440 intake, not the regular Eddy Performer . The reason being is the poor throttle responce below 2500 RPM on the early Eddy single plane intakes IHTHs BTW, pump gas strokers with aluminum heads are way impressive, 600+ Hp and 650 Ft Lbs.+ depending on the heads, camshaft, intake and carb. size

Just remember that your octane numbers are different than our octane numbers. Your 91 octane would equate to a number somewhere around 86 to 87 octane in the USA.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating

67 Coronet 500 9.610 @ 139.20 mph
67 Coronet 500 (street car) 14.82 @ 94 mph
69 GTX (clone) - build in progress......

How are the machine shop costs over there?

I would contact the Mopar Machine shops here (check the Moparts sponsors), and have them put a package together that has had all the parts checked and machined as needed. Shipping can add up fast if you need small parts to finish off the engine. Stuff like bolts, brackets, pulleys, engine mounts, oil dipstick, air filter, plugs and wires, wire looms, etc.

if I want to place an ad, on buying ready-made engine, where to do it in this forum?
